Forging, Impacts & Extrusions
Forging:
Impacts:
Impact Extrusion is an excellent process where the component has approximately 60% of the shape as hollow or heavily offset. Typical example is a small fire-extinguisher bottle. Materials can be steel or aluminum and some stainless steels. Parts become very strong due to grain flow.
Extrusions:
Aluminum shapes extruded in bars or cut to length. Finish machining and anodizing also available.
